All over for another year. I miss Christmas already now that the big day has been and gone. Christmas Eve we spent tidying up and getting ready for Santa's arrival. We had a special dinner together and then our tradition is to open the gifts under the tree after this. James received a robopet dog from us (I think that's what it's called) and Bella a cd player with cds, RIch: Buzz game for the playstation, undies & Little Britian DvD and I was given a Myer gift voucher, body shop pack and Titanic DvD. James put himself to bed at 8.15pm as he wanted to be asleep as soon as possible ready for the morning. Bella watched some of the carols and I think she crawled into bed at 9-45pm. We weren't much later, but as usual I woke up every hour on the hour hoping anxiously that it was morning so that we could see what Santa had brought for the kids. 5am and I was SURE that James and Bella should be awake...but no, 6am and finally James appeared.
The usual crazy parcel opening spree in the lounge room followed by pancakes, maple syrup and ice cream - yum. Cd's, books, playstation games, bratz, clothes, lots of things, too many things, Santa was very naughty this year.
Christmas lunch at the in-laws followed by Christmas dinner at my sister's house. I don't have photos of my sister's house, but she has the most amazing decorations and table settings at this time of year. Loads of Christmas trees through the house, fairy lights, little Christmas christmas everywhere, truly beautiful.
Here are some photos. My father-in-law handmade James and Bella a treasure/jewellery box each this year, just beautiful.
Lastly, a couple of layouts I've scrapped lately (the bottom one of Bonnie is a Tarisota layout) Merry Christmas everyone :O)
