*Ready to put together bon bons. You can usually find these in most $2 shops or Spotlight.
*Embroidery cotton in selected colour - 2 or 3 strands for stitching
*Ruler, scissors, pen or pencil.
*Ribbon or fabric to tie the bon bon. (The length of each tie is approx. 42cm)
Use the diagram/size chart above to draw out a template on paper or card for the embroidery. Cut this template out.
Position (hold with some tape if desired) the template in the middle of your bon bon (ensure you are doing this on the reverse side of the bon bon). Draw around the template with pen /pencil.
Remove the template and use a needle/pin to prick each hole for stitching. My stitches are approximately .6cm in length, but you can do any sized stitch :)))
Turn the bon bon over to the right side and begin stitching using embroidery cotton.
Complete the simple tree design and use ribbon or fabric to hold your bon bon together at each end - add a party joke, treats, etc... before tying the last ribbon on.
**The bon bon I've used is 35 cm in length - you may need to reduce or enlarge the template depending on the length of your own bon bon**
