Here's my creative space for the week, full of penpal writing goodness, my larksfoot blanket and a lovely little hexagon book that I've been revisiting.
Sadly I'm all out of navy yarn until I make a trip up to Spotlight, so the larksfoot is about to come to a big giant full stop. A shocking head cold has been holding me back from making the trip, but maybe I'll get up there on the weekend. We'll see.
Today I made some cute little sachets to fill with tea bags and photos, ready to mail off to a penpal. They were super simple and fast to do - just zig-zag stitch on my sewing machine with some greaseproof kitchen paper. I love easy peasy crafts.
See the hexagon book above? One of my sisters gave it to me a few years ago and I often open it up for inspiration. The projects are so pretty inside and make me want to start sewing hexies again, but I must stay focused on my current things....
I played with confetti too! Oh my, doesn't that make a mess if you accidentally blow it off the table? Actually the confetti project was pretty cute, so I'm sharing that as a mini tutorial on the blog tomorrow. I hope you enjoy it :)
See you tomorrow,
