**29/10/2013 Edited to add** After reaching a mammoth 50 sign ups for this swap, I've decided to close it off for this round. For all the dishcloth enthusiasts out there that missed out, why not start crocheting or knitting a few to save for the next swap. I'll be running swap #3 in the new year! :)
I've ticked another handmade gift off my long list of Christmas making ideas - six jars of delicious apple butter. The darling crystal preserving jars are from Woolworths. I finally tracked them down after a lovely blog reader let me know that they were in stock at a store near town. I decided to make the trip up and grab some (my local Woollies had sold out) and it was definitely worth the mini drive.
My mailbox was overflowing this morning - lots of fabulous dishcloths to collect, unwrap, ooh and ahh over and then package back up carefully ready to sort and mail back out over the weekend.
Are you ready for some dishcloth awesomeness? Well, here we go:

I feel a bit like I've been drowning in jobs at home over these last few days and have literally fallen into a heap on the sofa once dinner has been done and dusted. Ask me what I've been doing though and I don't have a clear answer - there's been lots of baking, heaps of time in the veggie garden, reading and researching as much as I can about growing different vegetables, drawing up all of this on paper, dehydrating and peeling what seems like twenty million apples - I bought another 10 kilos today - and well, just all of that everyday life kind of stuff.
I live with my husband and 2 children in Tasmania, Australia. I love to make nice things, spend time with my family, travel, bake yummy treats, read pretty craft books, give handmade gifts, toast marshmallows in our wood fired oven & live a lovely life.
