It's been such a lovely mail week here - no bills (for once) and just pretty parcels in my post box. I'll take that over bills any day of the week.
The first package that arrived was from my lovely penfriend in Western Australia, Denise. I loved Denise's clever idea of attaching a piece of string to the box (with clear sticky tape) showing the package's journey from her house to mine.
Here are the goodies inside:
How cute is the stamp on that envelope?! I've been eying off a similar one for myself on Etsy - link here.
A few readers have asked me to share some snail mailing gift ideas and I'm working on a few blog posts about this (will share them soon), but I thought in the mean time you might like to see what was inside this package - they're are some great ideas on what to send you penpals. Denise knows that I love stationery and tea, so she really spoilt me with new washi tape, a magnetic notepad for our fridge, a writing set, gel pens, mini notebook, owl journal and a delicious tin that was filled with English Breakfast tea bags. Eep! So much goodness.
Then, in my mail box today was this equally gorgeous package from my lovely instagram friend, Vanessa (#vanessakind on instagram) - again I was completely spoilt with paper goodness and some sweet Easter treats too.
Vanessa included some cute sticky notes (bandaids + todays top 5) and THE sweetest magnetic page tabs, which will be perfect to use in my filofax/daily planner. The package also included some washi tape, a pretty card, chalkboard labels, little Project Life cards, a chocolate and a tiny bunny and handmade egg that will be gorgeous to sit on my writing desk over the Easter period.
Righty-ho, I'm off to use those new magnetic tabs and sticky notes in my Filofax.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead - the weather here has suddenly turned chilly, so we're layering up with clothes and have had to turn the heater on this morning. I can definitely feel that winter is just around the corner.
