Excuse my crumpled up piece of paper and messy scrawl, but I'm keeping this blanket plan of mine tucked in my crochet basket and it's hopefully going to help keep me on track with the 'Weekend in Stockholm' blanket. Originally I was planning 99 squares (9 rows X 11 rows) for this project, but I'm now doing 100 squares instead - 10 rows X 10 rows.
I'm really excited about this blanket and am thrilled to have quite a few of you joining in, it's so nice. I've lost track of how many of you there are now, but would love to see some progress photos! Speaking of progress photos, Mary has a lovely blog post about her Weekend in Stockholm blanket and there's another one here to look at too - I love the colours that she's using!
And here's my Stockholm progress so far. I'm about 40 mini squares in and so far, so good. The centres are nice and quick to do and I'm really enjoying the process of creating them all.
With 60 squares to go until my first deadline at the end of February, I think I'll make it easily. I hope so anyhow.
What about you? Are you making fast or slow progress? Have you nailed the pattern? Are you making all your centres first, or chipping away at the squares, one by one? Do share, I'd love to know.
