Sometimes we make a wicked caramel popcorn recipe, that's perfect for movie watching, but mostly we keep it simple with cinnamon (a favourite), butter, salt or just perfectly plain to be eaten fresh and hot from the bowl.
Another favourite of mine is citrus popcorn and I thought you might like this one too. I do two variations - orange or lemon - but lemon is definitely my favourite! It's not really a recipe as such, just a dead easy way of adding some extra flavour to the bowl.
- Pop your kernels
- Drizzle the popcorn with either freshly squeezed lemon or orange.
- Eat and enjoy.
As I mentioned, the lemon one is my favourite as it adds some real tang to the bowl. Yes, the popcorn can be a little bit damp in places, but certainly not much different to adding melted butter over the top.
